TERMS & CONDITIONS

Terms & Conditions

1. Cosmetic Coating Service

Titanium Aerodynamics, Inc. provides Physical Vapor Deposition (PVD) coating as a cosmetic and protective finish only. Our coating services do not constitute gunsmithing, firearm repair, or performance enhancement unless otherwise agreed in writing.

2. Firearm Function Disclaimer

After receiving coated firearm components, customers are solely responsible for inspecting, assembling, and function testing the firearm before use. Titanium Aerodynamics, Inc. assumes no responsibility for the operational performance of the firearm following the coating process.

3. Color Variation Disclaimer

Customers acknowledge that slight color variations may occur due to differences in base materials, production batches, lighting conditions, and the inherent characteristics of the PVD coating process. Such variations are normal and do not constitute defects.

4. Cosmetic Expectation Disclaimer

Minor edge shadows, fixture marks, hanging marks, or other cosmetic characteristics resulting from the coating process are considered normal and are not defects or grounds for warranty claims.

5. Fitment Disclaimer

Because PVD coating adds a measurable thickness to surfaces, minor fitting, polishing, or adjustment may be required after coating to ensure proper fit and function.

6. Aftermarket / Unknown Parts

Titanium Aerodynamics, Inc. is not responsible for failures, damage, or improper performance involving aftermarket, modified, custom, or unknown-origin firearm parts submitted for coating.

7. Pre-Existing Damage Disclaimer

Existing scratches, wear marks, machining marks, rust, pitting, dents, or other imperfections may become more visible after the coating process. Titanium Aerodynamics, Inc. is not responsible for pre-existing damage or cosmetic imperfections present before service.

8. Polished Surface Disclaimer

Highly polished surfaces may contain contaminants that can interfere with coating adhesion. If recoating or refinishing is required due to polishing-related contamination, any additional polishing or recoating expenses shall be the responsibility of the customer.

9. Disassembly Disclaimer

Titanium Aerodynamics, Inc. is not liable for broken screws, seized fasteners, damaged pins, or damage to aftermarket components that may occur during the normal disassembly or reassembly process.

10. Warranty Void Conditions

Any warranty provided shall become void if coated parts are used improperly, modified, chemically cleaned, altered, refinished, or otherwise changed after the completion of the coating service.

11. Shipping Liability Disclaimer

Customers are responsible for all shipping charges, packaging, and insurance for items sent to and from Titanium Aerodynamics, Inc. The company is not responsible for loss or damage occurring during shipment.

12. Claims Reporting

Any claims regarding workmanship, shipping damage, missing items, or other service-related issues must be submitted in writing within five (5) calendar days of the customer receiving the completed order. Claims submitted after this period may not be accepted.

13. Right to Refuse Service

Titanium Aerodynamics, Inc. reserves the right to refuse service for any firearm, firearm component, or customer request that is considered unsafe, unlawful, abusive, or otherwise unsuitable at the company's sole discretion.

14. Material Identification

Customers are solely responsible for accurately identifying the material composition of all submitted firearm parts and components. Titanium Aerodynamics, Inc. is not responsible for issues resulting from incorrect material identification.

15. Rework Shipping Responsibility

If warranty service, rework, or recoating is required, the customer is responsible for all shipping costs associated with returning the item to and from Titanium Aerodynamics, Inc., unless otherwise agreed in writing.

16. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Titanium Aerodynamics, Inc.'s maximum liability for any claim arising out of or relating to the coating service shall be limited to the amount paid by the customer for the coating service performed on the affected item.

17. Legal Compliance

By submitting any firearm or firearm component for service, the customer certifies that they are the lawful owner or authorized possessor of the submitted items and that all shipments and transactions comply with all applicable federal, state, and local laws and regulations.
